Patti Jenkins called Scottish Stained Glass after moving into a new home that was much smaller and much nearer to her neighbors than her previous residence.

Her new home had a great sun room and some beautiful windows throughout, but Patti felt somewhat on display being able to look out these windows and see her neighbors in their home 15 feet away. Patti wanted to increase her home’s privacy without sacrificing any of the light that would be blocked by shades, blinds, or curtains. Upon seeing our portfolio of leaded glass she was sold. Over the course of some months Patti worked with Barb Timmons of Scottish Stained Glass to complete a number of leaded glass windows throughout the home.

While the sun room was a wonderful project, the most dramatic transformation occurred when we added leaded glass windows to the master bathroom. Below are the beautiful before and after pictures.

We started by choosing leaded glass in all of her transom windows and French doors throughout the house.   This would afford her privacy form the neighbors, protection from the glare and uv of the sun, and that special sparkle she wanted her home to have. We later changed her master bath from dark and closed off to light bright and beautiful by using complimentary leaded glass in the large sliding windows above the tub.

One year later, after building on a sun room Patti called us back to her house. The crown jewel project of her home became the gorgeous leaded glass we added to the side walls and transoms of her sun room. This leaded glass allowed Patti and her plants to enjoy all the benefits of warm, natural light, without sacrificing her privacy. She loved the solution and still wows new guests to the home with the beautiful windows.
