This beautiful custom stained glass entryway was crafted from the very beginning with stained glass in mind.  The doors, sidelights, and transoms were each custom crafted by the client’s carpenters.  After the doors and glass windows had been installed, Scottish Stained Glass was created leaded, beveled and water glass designs which helped ensure the privacy and security of their home.

The custom stained glass design was Celtic inspired, but adapted to match the home’s contemporary design aesthetic.  Owner Martin Faith and the Scottish Stained Glass design team showed the client photoshoped representations of a number of different design styles that could match the home. After the windows and glass were installed but before construction started, the team came back with full size CAD templates of the design just to make sure the client would be happy with the project for years to come.

Because how the project schedule ended up working, Scottish Stained Glass worked hard to ensure that the stained glass was produced and installed in a 3 week period.  Taking final measurements right after the installation of the doors and exterior glass, we worked quickly to make sure our stained glass was installed on time to ensure the home could be finished on schedule.

When asked what was the most challenging part of this job Martin replied “Getting those dogs to sit still long enough to take the photo!”
